Sjoerd van Keulen
Chairman
Sjoerd combines a background in management and finance with a profound interest in social and economic development, focusing in particular on building a new middle class in developing countries.
He is Chairman of the Holland Financial Centre, President of the Board of Mediq, Board member at ING, APG and Heijmans, Chairman of the Investment Fund Health in Africa, board member of Health Insurance Fund and advisor of the PharmAccess Foundation. After completing his MA in Political Science, Sjoerd began his professional career as a management consultant. From 1981 to 2002, he occupied various board and management positions at MeesPierson and Fortis Bank. From 2002 to 2009, Sjoerd was CEO of the SNS REAAL Group.
