Leading Pharmaceutical Companies Engage in Dialogue around Index 2012

A key milestone will occur on the 24th of May in the Netherlands, when the Index team will hold its first direct engagement with a large group of companies the Index ranks. The high-level turn-out for this meeting, which includes 9 of the worlds Top 10 pharma companies, offers a unique opportunity for leading pharmaceutical companies to engage in a constructive dialogue around access to medicine measurement and outcome reporting. The Index team sees that it is uniquely positioned to facilitate such a dialogue and exchange. Sophia Tickell, chair of the Index’ Expert Review Committee, will moderate the meeting. This gathering forms one of a number of consultations as part of the ongoing 'stakeholder review and methodology update process' ahead of the publication of Index 2012. More stakeholder meetings are planned with other NGOs and investors.
