Knut Kjaer

Knut was the founding CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management, which manages the Norwegian government pension fund and the investment of Norway’s foreign reserves. The Norwegian oil fund is one of the early advocates of ethical investing, managing today more than $500 bn. 

In 2009, he became a president of the RiskMetrics Group in New York, a leading provider of risk management and corporate governance products and services to participants in the global financial markets. He is currently chairman of FSN Capital Partners, a Nordic Private Equity company, and works as investment advisor to some large institutional investors. Knut holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Political Science.
